AIDA Youth Water Safety Skills Courses

By developing the specific youth water skills courses, AIDA was at the forefront of teaching water skills for children and teenagers. The courses is based on 'Water Skills' and safety (both with knowledge for the child and the parent / guardian)

The Objectives of AIDA Youth Education:
  • Acquire water safety competence and skills
  • Develop aquaticity as familiarity interacting with water
  • Develop specific qualities and skills that will help AIDA Youth alumni become competent freedivers in the future as young adults

General Approach
1. Safety of the students is the first concern
2. A non-competitive atmosphere and mind-set
3. Paying close attention to physical and psychological comfort of young students
4. Teaching water skills in connection with environmental awareness
5. Assuring that parents/guardians understand the safety rules and post-course supervision requirements
